The following topics were discussed:
- 2007-08 books were handed out.
- Classification and points were discussed.
- Non-returning officials were named and discussed.
- This year is the last year that zebra stripes will be
worn.
- Eufaula games may be duals. Officials doing those games
will be paid more in travel pay. Crews from same area can carpool.
- Scratch list is still enforced.
- District Camp is being held Saturday, January 12th,
in Auburn. Wade will send out an email.
- New rule changes were discussed. This year, the head coach
is responsible for making sure the players are properly equipped. If the
players are not, the head coach shall be cautioned.
- The Rules Clinic will be held Saturday, January 19th,
in Dothan. If you attend the District Camp, you do not have to attend the
Rules Clinic, and vice versa.
- All referees are encouraged to study the books.
- The first SSL Playdate is Saturday, February 9th.
Next Scheduled Meeting: Tuesday, January 29th, 2008,
6:30 PM at Soccer Central in Dothan.
